project: Brazen Hussy

THE CLIENT: Brazen Hussy is an urban chic clothing company, created by two sisters. The public profile of the company had risen significantly since its inception, and needed a website which would carry the brand to the next level.

THE CHALLENGE: The project needs were threefold: to convey the company's strong image online; to enable interaction with the clientele in a fun, accessible way; and to infuse the bold, graphical style of Brazen Hussy clothing throughout the site.

THE SOLUTION: Customers are able to interact with the site by using a unique gallery upload feature, which allows customers to upload photos of themselves wearing the Brazen Hussy line and add them to the public gallery page. On the client side, the company can manage the site content and update the catalogue using a custom-built CMS.

project: Hotel 09

THE CLIENT: Hotel 09 is a partnership of four companies: Barzelle Designs, Credible Upholstery, The Doorland Group, and World Wide Iozza, created to inform and initiate interaction with delegates to the Hospitality Design Exposition & Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

THE CHALLENGE: The clients needed a modern and clean microsite to entice conference participants to sign up for Hotel 09's Wine & Cheese Mixer at the conference. Additionally, they wanted to promote all four companies and their capabilities.

THE SOLUTION: Ideagrow Inc. designed a uniquely intuitive Hotel 09 microsite to meet the partnership's promotion requirements, a registration feature. The registration gives the clients a list of the conference delegates and has the functionality to publish this list into an Excel file at any time.

project: Cell Therapy Program

THE CLIENT: Cell Therapy Program is a combined effort of the University of Toronto and the University Health Network at the Princess Margaret Hospital exploring innovative ways of using cells for the treatment of cancer and the regeneration of tissues and organs. The Cell Therapy Program is divided into three separate research departments: Basic & Translational Research, Clinical Cell Production and Clinical Research.

THE CHALLENGE: This website needed to profile the three distinct sections of the program, and to do so in a straight forward and uncluttered way. The client had no existing website, so they entrusted Ideagrow Inc. to guide them in the right direction and come up with the correct way of profiling the content.

THE SOLUTION: The Ideagrow Inc. solution assigned to each of the three main departments its own distinct colour scheme. At the same time, the design maintained the integrated nature of the content while ensuring that the content of all three participating research departments was accessible at all times.

project: L!vely Media

THE CLIENT: Lively Media produces high quality factual television programming and dramas for the international marketplace. The company has just completed production on two new food & travel series: The Chef's Domain for Travel + Escape, and Breeder of the Pack for Animal Planet, and is now beginning production on a seven-part documentary series on Canada's premiere culinary championship Gold Medal Plates.

THE CHALLENGE: Lively Media needed a clean and contemporary site to showcase its programming and to help promote and market its new and upcoming shows.

THE SOLUTION: Using a custom CMS, Ideagrow Inc. built a new back-end to the website which allows the client to update each program by adding individual episode synopses and video trailers. The client can also add new shows and episode pages as they are produced. News and Press are also updated in the back-end, as are a password-protected section for videos, which are uploaded for approval before becoming finalized for the air.

project: Power of Movement

THE CLIENT: Power of Movement is an annual Yoga event to raise funds and awareness for Arthritis research.

THE CHALLENGE: For 2009, the organizers planned to take POM 09 to a national level by hosting events in 10 cities across Canada simultaneously. Ideagrow Inc. was retained to create a website which would market the event to a broad audience across the entire country and publicize the POM message.

THE SOLUTION: The site implemented by Ideagrow enabled new and returning participants to learn about the history, founders and key inspirations for the event by reading unique and personal stories. Included also were profiles of the celebrities who were participating in this year's event and of each city and host yoga studio. In addition, a database of Canadian yoga studios was created as a resource to help people get involved if they were not able to participate in one of POM's mega-sessions. This year's event was an outstanding success, raising over $250,000 for Arthritis and Autoimmune Disease research.
